Welcome to Prickly Fresh!
Simple, Yet Elevated Healthy-ish Recipes, Wellness Tips, Clean Products
Hi, I’m Jordan – the food photographer and recipe developer behind Prickly Fresh, a food and wellness blog providing tasty, clean recipes, wellness tips and non-toxic living solutions.
I grew up in South Florida and had so many different food influences because of it. My parents always let my older sister and I create whatever we wanted in the kitchen. We were always trying new things and experimenting with different ingredients. I now enjoy creating recipes that nourish my body but are still delicious. Everything from healthy dinners, and party appetizers, to sweets that will blow your mind.
Aside from creating recipes you’ll find that I’m thoroughly obsessed with chips and salsa (like sign me up for a competition, obsessed) and that I love trendy housewares.
I have a background in event management and hospitality where I worked in catering sales for 3 years. After re-considering my options and taking an unforeseen hit, I took Prickly Fresh full time! Read more about the blessing in disguise that launched my business here! It’s quite the story.
I’ve changed so much since I started Prickly Fresh, It has evolved from just food to food + wellness. I’m sure it will continue to change and I hope you’ll enjoy the ride with me!
What did you do before Prickly Fresh?
I worked in catering sales, which means I was also on-site at events on nights, weekends and holidays, selling my soul to other people.
Do you cook all these recipes?
Yes! Being in the kitchen is my happy place. Let’s work together!
Do you take your own photos?
Yes, I’m the food photographer and ‘team’ behind Prickly Fresh! I use a Canon 6D Mark II. It has most definitely made SUCH a difference.
Can we work together?
Heck Yes! I’m happy to work with brands that align with my goals, vision, and values. Past partnerships on this blog include O-Live Olive Oil, Health-Ade Kombucha, Sir Kensington, and many more! Click here to learn more about working together.
