– Are you still in New Year, New You mode? Or is it fading? I believe in refresh and restarts but I don’t believe in crash dieting. I don’t think it’s good for your body or your mind. Tons of people get so restrictive in hopes of losing weight – then what? What’s going to […]

Weeknight dinners. Don’t we all love hate relationship with them? We need to eat but don’t always have the energy to make something. I can totally relate to this. My goal was to create easy dinner recipes that take no time at all. We all want something that is flavorful and satiating at the same time. Healthy food just makes us feel better, so why can’t it taste good too?
One of my favorite one pot meals to make is this Chicken Tagine. It’s perfect because all you have to do is basically, throw everything into one pot. It’s full of flavor and probably ingredients you might not always use together.
You can also use The Alternative Guide to Meal Prep if you’re someone who likes to just pull something out of the fridge. There are tons of items you can prep individually and keep in Tupperware so you can easily throw them together for any meal at any time.
Just like any of the other recipes on this website, these are baselines. Especially when you’re making dinner, feel free to pour a glass of wine and experiment with what you’re making. Don’t be afraid to throw in some new spices or ingredients – really make it your own.
Weeknight dinners are some of the best recipes to make because this is when we spend the most time with our family, most likely. These are special meals that deserve love and care and are supposed to be shared with loved ones.

We all know my love for peanut things. Usually if I’m out and something on the menu has peanut in it, I’m totally getting it. In hopes of having an easy weeknight meal or maybe even a ‘meatless Monday’ I crafted a Chickpea Peanut Curry for you guys! I sauté some onion and garlic first, […]
– Did you guys know that Orange season is actually in the Winter?! How weird is that? I guess I just always assumed they were a warm weather fruit because of the climate in FL and the time of year we eat them the most. I wanted to put together a refreshing and light salad […]
– Warming foods are what I’m lookin’ for these days. We’re not in Kansas anymore Toto! In FL I wanted nothing to do with chili, soups or stews. The cold weather has changed me into a cozy, soup-loving creature and I’m fully embracing it! If you watch my Instagram stories you know the following things […]
– Recently I’ve come across that I need warm, nourishing foods to keep me happy and full. It’s almost impossible for me to want to eat a salad everyday or have a smoothie every morning – I’m just not that girl and I think I’m finally coming to terms with that. I can have a […]
