Prickly Fresh Appetizers

Prickly Fresh Appetizers section is quite possibly the most fun. This section is full of small plates and share-able snacks to have for a party (or yourself). I'm a big fan of eating "tapas" style, so smaller, multiple plates are my vibe.

The dishes in here are also great as side dishes to complement your dinner or to take to a gathering with you.

Some of my favorites include:

  • Loaded Plantain Fries with Ropa Vieja
  • 16 Minute French Fries
  • Scallion Pancakes
  • Spicy Sweet Crispy Cauliflower Wings

Most of the recipes in this section are pretty easy. I want you to be able to make them with friends and family or for friends and family without having to stress. They're simple flavors put together in simple ways, which is always comforting. For example the 16 minute French fries were easily elevated by adding some lemon zest and grated parmesan cheese. It's a simple way to impress your friends and family without having to put in hard work or spend a lot of money! Love that for us.

Prickly Fresh Appetizers are fun and easy to make! Like I always say, I want these to be a baseline for your vision. Maybe you want to do chives and parmesan on your French fries. Go for it! There are no mistakes in the kitchen. It's just food and it should be enjoyable to make and eat. I hope you enjoy making and eating some of these appetizer recipes with your friends and family!
