SuViche – A Haven for Peruvian and Japanese Fusion

SuViche is Japanese Peruvian heaven. They fuse together both cultures in the best way. My personal favorite – in the form of alcohol. Some of the new cocktails include The Prenup made with coconut macerado pisco, mango, cilantro and OP rum, then topped with a lime peel, torched and served with a flame. This drink is fuego – literally and figuratively. It’s tangy, slightly sweet, and the best way to start your meal.

One of the other standouts to me was the Carajillo because I LOVE coffee and I LOVE tequila. It’s a mix of resposado tequila, Licor 43, coffee and agave. This drink is the best of both worlds and goes down way too smooth (could be dangerous for me!)

SuViche is also happy to announce an annual features menu. This includes six specialty dishes available for lunch and dinner at all of it’s locations. I was lucky enough to have a little preview to what the menu would be like and I was so pleased! Some of my favorites include the Camote Roll made with torched sweet potato, fresh tuna, cucumber and SuViche sauce.

As well as the Causa Saltado

featuring crispy panko breaded causa and paired with a choice of chicken, shrimp or steak saltado. The fresh tuna mixed with the texture and sweetness of the torched sweet potato in the camote roll are a match made in heaven. I had to refrain myself from licking the plate of the causa saltado. The cause is crispy on the outside and so pillow-ey soft on the inside. The steak saltado was cooked to perfection and piled high on top. Please do yourself a favor and order this one – it is so worth it!
